This is a pretty brilliant breakdown of what you can eat with Raypeat’s diet. I do have quite a few thoughts about it, but I won’t be able to get to them until this weekend. Not wild about his hyperthyroid recommendations, anti-liver, or vegetebles. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=419742 Kind of ironic its on a low carb forum … Continue reading »

Beginning my Standing Desk Adventure
I recently purchased a standing desk (ErgoTron WorkFit D) and a active sitting chair (The Swopper). This guy gives a pretty good review of the Fitdesk which I also got some monitor arms to float my monitors, and allow them to move into a lot more positions for working purposes. The desk allows me to … Continue reading »

Gardening and Smoking
This is the second year that I have taken in an active interest in gardening. Last year I planted some pepper (nightshades) and cayenne hot peppers. Marrakesh Za’atar seasoning and quick spaghetti squash recipe
http://www.urbanaccents.com/spice-blends-marrakesh-za-atar-p/1536.htm I found this seasoning at whole foods. Its a combination of sumac, seasame seeds, salt and thyme. Can too low of carbohydrate slow down metabolism?
Lately I have been eating more carbohydrates, in the form of rice and potatoes. Maybe bananas, honey and or orange juice would be better? I read some work from Ray Peat and the simplified into words I can understand by Danny Roddy. Basically if you don’t eat enough carbs (I am aiming for about 200 grams … Continue reading »
